5-29-2008 (B Day) Happenings

I checked for supplies and read off overdue books from the media center. I collected any outstanding Packer Passes and students also turned in Blog Log #2. I returned the Hurricane Wiki Grading Rubric to each group and answered any questions related to the project. We watched Part 1 of An Inconvenient Truth. Some students responded to the assigned blog entry.

5-28-2008 (A Day) Happenings

I checked for supplies and read off overdue books from the media center. I collected the Packer Passes. I also collected Blog Log #2. I explained the Hurricane Wiki Individual Member Assessment and each team completed the assessment.Each Hurricane Wiki Team completed the Hurricane Wiki Grading Rubric as a way to check to make sure that their team had satisfactorily completed all requirements. Student finished the block with RIF or completing Blog Log #2.

5-23-2008 (A Day) Happenings

I checked for supplies. Each Hurricane Wiki Team completed the Hurricane Wiki Grading Rubric as a way to check to make sure that their team had satisfactorily completed all requirements. Teams then fixed anything that did not meet their expectations. I handed out Blog Log #2 and students worked on completing that assignment. Students spent some time doing RIF.

5-19-2008 (A Day) Happenings

I checked for supplies. We watched the Valley View Megaconference Jr. presentation of the FBI-SOS Internet Challenge. We reviewed the time line for the Hurricane Wiki Project. Each individual shared their current progress and anticipated work for their production time. I checked the progress of each team. I explained and reviewed important concepts related to the Hurricane Wiki. Each Hurricane Wiki Team continued working to complete the Hurricane Wiki. I reviewed each wiki page with it's respective team and provided feedback on what was done well and what could be improved. Students spent the remainder of the block working on the Hurricane Wiki Project.
