We completed the Packer Contest. I checked for supplies and collected Packer Passes. We watched Part 1 of An Inconvenient Truth. I handed out a worksheet for the FBI-SOS Scavenger Hunt. Students began researching online to complete the FBI-SOS Scavenger Hunt.
- Print out the FBI-SOS Scavenger Hunt and complete Blocks 1-10 of the FBI-SOS Scavenger Hunt. (DUE Tuesday)
- If you have not yet done so, register online for the FBI-SOS Competition.
- Go to www.fbi-sos.org and click the "Students" button.
- Click the "Registration" button.
- Read over the rules and click "Click Here to Register" at the bottom of the page. Enter your name and select your state (Minnesota), school (Valley View Middle School) and grade (8th). You will then be given a username and password which you will need to take the Pre- and Post-Quizzes.
- Print the page with your username and password information. VERY IMPORTANT: Cut the registration page in half and give Mr. Buckley the bottom half to keep for your records.
- If you have not yet done so, take the FBI-SOS Pre-Quiz.
- Check the blog daily and complete any tasks that are added.
- Bring all supplies to class.
All extra credit assignments are optional.
