I welcomed students and took attendance. I checked for supplies and collected any outstanding Student Information and Parent/Guardian Sheets. I demonstrated how to add blog feeds to individual student Netvibes accounts. Students then added feeds to their 8th Grade Blogs tab on their Netvibes account. Students paired-and-shared about their Communication Model Activity and I checked to make sure they had completed the assignment. We then discussed it as a class. We completed the Symbolism Activity. In some classes, students spent a few minutes doing RIF.
