3-2-1 Discussion of the Fear Module

Now that the Fear Module is over, please take a few moments to complete a 3-2-1 discussion.
  • Give 3 putups--let me know what you found interesting, enjoyable, educational, worthwhile, etc.
  • Make 2 suggestions--let me know what I could do differently to make the module more interesting, fun, educational, worthwhile, etc.
  • Provide 1 rating--Rate the Fear Module on a scale of 1-4 (1=Loved It, 2=Liked It, 3=Didn't Like It, 4=Hated It). Explain your ranking. I'd also like you to answer the poll question on the Fear Module.
Your comments help me understand what is good about the Fear Module and what I can do to make it better in the future. Thanks for your time and input.

3 put ups:
-I liked the movie
-I liked learning about the US's greatest fears
-I thought the fear case studies were educational

2 suggestions:
-We could watch little parts of the movie every class, it got boring just siting there
-We could do more than watch the movie and the packet, it felt like a short unit

1 rating:
-I rate it a 2, I liked it but did not love it

-I liked the movie.
-I liked learning about the top 10 fears in the US.
-I liked discussing fear in class.

-Maybe we could've done some class activities.
-We could've written our own fear case and shared it with a group and discuss it.

1, I thought it was great. I loved the movie.

3. I liked the movie, the case studies of the U.S, and learning about how to control your fear.
2. We could do different activities, and done more with our own personal fears.
1. I would rate this a two because I liked most of the unit.

1. The movie was very good, the packet not too bad and finding out about society's fears was interesting.
2. That first page of the packet-it's illogical to make people rate things on a fear scale that they love (me-heights, flying, public speaking, deep water, dogs.)
Play a game?
3. 2

I liked the Dead Poets Society, learning about American's fears, and discussing fear.
We could maybe not have so many vocab words, and less blogs to comment on.
I would give it a 2. It was interesting, but fear seems like a random thing to learn about.

1) I liked the us's greatest fears, the movie and the fear case studies.

2) I think we should have less blogging and maybe a game or two in class.

3) I give this unit a 2 because it was ok but i didn't love it.

1. I think that this unit was worthwhile, interesting and educational.

2. I think that the "Dead Poets Society" movie sheet where we answer all of the questions is a little overwelming. Also, maybe talking a little bit more on how to face our fears would be good.

3. I would give this unit a 1. It was interesting because it was unique and it was something that we have never learned in any other class.

3. I give it a 2 because of the movie
