Communication Model Acitivity
1)I liked it since your classmates tried to explain what was on the paper.
2)Two things that I remembered were: you have to try to understand what the person was saying and when people could talk listening to them.
3)What might be on the test is the part on the sender, message, reciver and feedback. But also the noise part.
-Annie
1) I liked it because it was fun trying to draw what they were explaining to us.
2)somthing that i learned was you have to pay attention to what and where they are saying.
3) what might be on the test is what communication is.
1) I liked it because it waw a challenge and you really wanted to get it as perfecet as they were explaining it.
2) What I learned was that its difficult to listen to somebody and not see the their hand gestures.
3) What might be on the test is something that asks is it hard to just listen to a person and not be able to see them.
1. I liked drawing what my classmates were describing because it was cool to see if you drew it right.
2. I learned that you have to pay attention in detail to what people are saying. I also learned that you can misunderstand people very easily.
3. What might be on the test is that noise can easily interfere with listening.

1)I liked the drawing activity because it was fun trying to draw something by having someone describe it to you.
2)Two things that I remembered were: you had to pay attention, and it's hard to copy something you can't see.
3)I think that there will be question about how noise doesn't have to make a sound.
1)I liked this activity because it was difficult but fun to try to draw what the person was saying and then comparing it to the real drawing.
2)Two things that I remembered were that it took longer to draw and explain the picture when you could ask questions and it was hard to interperet what the person behind the door was trying to say.
3)I think that the receiver, sender, message and feedback will be on the test.
1) I liked the drawing activity because it was kind of fun trying to draw something that you can't see.
2) I learned from the activity that following directions can be difficult if they are not specific. I also learned that if you want to understand a message, you need to pay close attention.
3) On the communication test there might be a question about how noise can affect communication and the different ways it can.
1) I liked this activity because it was fun to see how everybody interpreted what the leader said.
2) Two things I remembered were everybody interprets messages in a different way and when there is noise it is hard to concentrate.
3) One thing that might be on the test is how different things that conrtibute to the message can change what the reciever thinks the sender is trying to say.
1)I liked it cause it was really fun and hard to understand what the person was saying.
2)One thing is that if you ask questions that are not related to the game you can't finish the game. Second it is hard to understand if you don't know what the person is trying to get you to understand.
3)What might be on the test is the process of communication
1) Yes, i liked this activity because it was a fun and creative way to teach the lesson.
2) I learned that noise can effect what the message really turns out to be. I also learned that you need to be very clear when you send a message to someone, especially a big group.
3)That noise doesn't necesarily have to be a sound.
1) I liked this activity because it was an interesting experimint.
2)Feedback is necessary to clarify.
Too much feedback is noise
3)The above two statements.
1) I liked the activity because the class worked as individuals and as a group.
2) Two things that I remembered were that noise can be ANY kind of distraction and feedback is very important.
3)I think that the communication flow map will be on the test.
Shannon
1. I liked this activity because it was fun to try to follow the instructions.
2. That it can be hard to say something and that communication is important.
3. Non-vocal communication.
1) I liked drawing what my classmates were describing because it was fun to see if you drew it perfect
2) That noise can really affect your communication
3)What might be on the test is that noise can easily affect your listening/communication
(1)i did like it and i thought it was interesting to see what others imagined the picture as.
(2)you have to interpret what they are saying and i also remember that you have to pay close attention because you could easily mess up
(3)i think that you will have to write the process of communication.
~maddie
1. I deffinatly liked this activity.
2.it kind of, "completed" the lesson, gave you an actual sence of what you are learning.
3. Two things that can be remembered are that noise isn't just verbal, and the process of communication is on the test.
1. I didn't like the activity, because I like to be able to see the thing that I'm supposed to draw, and I wasn't able to in the activity.
3. Communication is a powerful thing and you have to listen very carefully when someone is explaining something to you.
3. I think that the types of communication will be on the test.
1) I liked this activity because we got to use different types of communication to interact between ourselves.
2) I learned that you can misunderstand people very easily. I also learned that to understand people clearly you have to listen intently.
3) I think one thing from the activity that might be on the test would be something about the affects of noise on communication.
1. I liked this activity because it was fun and interesting to learn.
2. I learned that communication without visual and feedback is a lot harder than with it.
3. I think the communication chart with the sender, message, and reciever will be on the test.
1) I liked this activity because it was fun trying to draw exactly what the person said.
2)You really have to try to understand what the person is saying and that it's really easy to misunderstand people.
3)I think that the sender, receiver, feedback, and stuff will be on the test.
1) I liked sees how close my drawing was to the actual drawing.
2) It is a lot easier to be able to give feedback and see nonverbal messages and verbal messages than just verbal messages. Also you need to pay close attention to what they say.
3) All the stuff about sender, message, receiver, feedback, and noise.
3)
1) I liked it because it was fun to draw what was being explained.
2) 2 things I remember are that it is much easier to draw things when you could ask questions and give feed back and it took longer to draw when we could ask questions and made every thing more presice.
3) The noise might be on the test.
1. i liked the activity because it was interesting to see how people described the drawings
2. i learned that you have to listen closely and it helps i you can give feedback
3. what might be on the test is how the different types of communication work with each other
1) I liked it because it showed us how different kinds of communication work better then others with the long and boring lecture.
2)What I remember most from the activity was how quiet it was the first time, then how confused it was the second.
3) probably how different the two types of communication were.
1 I liked this activity because it was fun to compare the actual drawing to what you drew
2 I learned it is alot harder to draw something without being able to ask questions and that when you are thalking to a large group you need to be clear and precise
3 I think the test will ask about how noise interfers with communication
1) I found this activity fun because it was a nice change of pace and we got to interact with each other.
2) two things that can be learned from this activity is one that you can communicate better when you can see each other and do non verbal signals and two that it is confusing when you are told to do something and can not respond or ask questions
3)i think that one thing that will be on this test is that if it is easier to use non verbals with regular verbal or to just use verbals.
1)Yes, i di like this activity. at some times it was very frustrating when you couldn't talk.
2)I learned when i was explaining to talk very slowly and clearly.
3)You will have to know about verbal, vocal, and nonverbal communication on the test.
1.I liked the activity because it was fun!
2.I rememer that it was a more accurate drawing when the liseners could responed to the person discribing the picture.
3.I think that the what way was easier and what way took longer part will be on the test.
Communication Model Activity
1) I liked this activity a lot because it was a challenge to try to draw something that someone was telling you to draw without asking any questions.
2) I remembered that communication is not just a one way process, so when the person tells you how to draw something, you have to ask questions about it. Also, I learned that it was a lot easier when there was no noise that was distracting people from listening to what the person was saying.
3) I think you will need to know that communication is a 2-way process so not just one person can talk, and that noise can interfere a lot.
1. I liked it. It wasn't the best, but I didn't hate it.Well I thought that some of it was interesting, but i don't really like reading packets.
2.two things I learned were: a)talking is easier than writing.b) I learned the communication diagram .
3.I think one thing that will be on the test is the communication diagram.
1. I liked it. It wasn't the best, but I didn't hate it.Well I thought that some of it was interesting, but i don't really like reading packets.
2.two things I learned were: a)talking is easier than writing.b) I learned the communication diagram .
3.
1.It was okay, it was fun in a way because we got to draw what our classmates were explaining!?!
2.Two things that can be remembered were:: You have to try your hardest to figure out what the person is explaining and that you should probably listen when people are explaining things!
3.Something very important that could be on the test is like the communication process..[Sender, Message, Receiver, Feedback, Noise..]Like the diagram thing!!

SOFIA BROWN!
Topic: Communication Model Activity.
1. I enjoyed this activity because we got to try to draw what they were explaining.
2. I remebered that I had an better time drawing the objects when I could ask questions. Also, it was harder when the speaker couldn't use any hand motions or anything!
3. What might be on the test would be if it goes by quicker seeing the person or not.
- Sofia 7/8 B
1) I thought it was funy listening to the people try to explain, and was much easier the second time when we could talk and the person could use there hands to try to expalin what was on the picture.
2) I learned you have to pay attention to what you are saying and that you should take a little more time to think it all through.
3)What might be on the test is stuff about the noise.
1)I thought the activity was okay. the activity was really hassled because we were running out of time so quickly.
2)everybody was shouting at Alex, and everybody was kind of frustrated with Mary.
3)Two things that I learned from this are:
1. having people ask questions isnt always a good thihng when under a time limit
2. you dont necessarily know what is helpful and what is useless.
4)One thing i think will be on the test is probably the noise, sender, and reciever. We might have to describe it all.
1. This activity was fun because we got to interact with are classmates and have fun.
2. First, I will remember how much easier the activity was when we could communicate with our classmates, and second I will remember noise can beany kind of distraction/interuption.
3. I think the communication flow map will be for sure on the test.
1.Yes I liked the activity because it was fun drawing what they explained to us.
2.It was hard no being able to ask questions and the second one is that it was easier to be able to talk to the speaker while they were explaining the picture.
3.I dont really know
-Shahara-
1) I liked this activity because it showed how difficult it is to communicate without feedback but how too much feedback can also be difficult.
2) I learned that it took more time when we could ask questions then when we couldn't. I also learned that it was harder when we couldn't ask questions.
3) On the test there might be something about how noise interferes with the message.
1. I loved this activity! It really showed how being able to see and comunicate with the person helps improve the drawing.
2. I remembered that it was alot harder when we couldn't see the person, and it takes longer when you can see and comunicate with the person.
3. I think that the chart will be on the communication test.
I liked this acitivity because it was a fun learing experience.
2 things I learned are it is easier communicate when you are getting feedback about it. Another thing I learned is that you have to listen and pay attention when someone is communicating with you or else you might miss something.
What might be on the test are the 3types of communication.
1. I liked because it was difficult to understand what the person was trying to tell us to draw.
2. I learned that it can be easy to misunderstand what someone is trying to say, and that it is hard to draw something you cant see.
3. That noise does not always have to be a sound.
1) I liked the activity because it was funny listen to people describe the picture.
2)I remember that asking questions helped and it was easier when you could see the person.
3) The different types of communication.
1. I liked this activity because it taught me more about communication and it was fun.
2. I learned that you have to listen to try and understand what the person was saying. I also learned that the second time we did this activity, it was easier.
3. On the test there might be questions about the four parts of communication (sender, message, reciever, feedback).
1) i liked that we all interacted with the each other and it was fun.
2)Two things i remember are 1) you have to try to draw exactly what is on the paper without looking at it. 2) your classmate has to tell you whats to draw.
3) I think that one thing that will be on the test is
1) I liked this activity because it was fun to see what how different everyones' drawings were compared to the real one.
2) I learned how hard it is to draw something without being able to see what you are supposed to draw. And, that it was easier when you could see the person telling you what you are supposed to draw and being allowed to ask them questions.
3) I think that one thing that will be on the test that is related to this activity is how seeing someone's expressions can effect communication.
1. I liked it because it was fun trying to draw what people discribed to us.
2. Two things I remember are: You really have to pay attention and you need to listen for specific details.
3. Something that will be on the test is that something that interferes with a conversation is called interference!
1) I thought that the activity was fun because it was interesting to see how different people's drawings were to what they were actually supposed to be.
2) I learned that it is hard to communicate when there's no feedback available. I also learned that it is also hard to communicate when you can't see the person you're listening to.
3) Something I think that will be on the test is that noise doesn't have to be sound related. It can be someone waving to you out in the hallway while you're trying to take a test or something.
1) I liked this activity because it was more challenging then it sounds so it was cool to see if you could draw it right.
2) I learned that details are really important and that hand gestures can be helpful.
3) There might be something on the test about how noise can interfere a lot with the message.
1) I liked this activity because it fun trying to draw what the student in our class were discribing to us.
2)Two things i remember from this activity was that its easier if the person who is discribing can use there body to help them. Also its good to ask questions.
3)Something that could be on the test is how to use your voice to tell people how you feel.
1) I didn't really like it, because I like to be in control of what I'm drawing
2) A couple things that I remember, are how it can be difficult to give verbal descriptions of physical things, and also how difficult it can be when one is in a one-way conversation (not being able to give feedback)
3) I think a good test question would be "True or False: Noise always refers to sound"
1)i thought it was fun to try and draw what the person was telling me because i like to draw.
2)some things i remember is you have to listen carefully and you have to make guesses because they are not always specific enough.
3)one very important thing might be all of the vocab words.
1) I liket it because it got you involved.
2)you need to listen carefully and that feedback can also cause a distraction rather than be a positive.
3)We'll probably have to know the definition of communication and the definition of message.
1) I thought it was fun because we got to draw what they were trying to explain to us.
2)i learned that you can misunderstand poeple very easily. Also I learned that when there is noise in the background if is difficult to concentrate.
3) I think the sender, message, receiver and feedback proccess will be on the test.
1) I thought it was fun because we got to draw what they were trying to explain to us.
2)i learned that you can misunderstand poeple very easily. Also I learned that when there is noise in the background if is difficult to concentrate.
3) I think the sender, message, receiver and feedback proccess will be on the test.
1) I thought it was fun because we got to draw what they were trying to explain to us.
2)i learned that you can misunderstand poeple very easily. Also I learned that when there is noise in the background if is difficult to concentrate.
3) I think the sender, message, receiver and feedback proccess will be on the test.
1. i kind of liked this acitvity. it was interesting trying to get the drawing right
2.One thing that i learned was that nonverbal comm. is important. i also learned that feedback is important
3.An important thing was that all of the elements of communication are important.
1. I liked it because it was fun trying to understand what the speaker was trying to explain to us!
2. Something that i learned was that when people could ask questions it took ALLOT longer.
3. i think how noise can easily affect communication will be on the test.
.
1) yes it was funny to try to explain what was on the paper
2) @ things r that you need to pay atention and when the speaker ment.
yes because it was fun
i can remember you should listen to someone when they are talking and i also learned you can easily misunderstand people.
The part about noise interfering with the message will probably be on the test.
1.I thought this activity was interesting.
2,I remember that we drew smiley s and hearts. And I remember that in one we couldnt ask questions.
3.i think not being able to ask questions.
this activity was verry interesting in the way it discribed comunication as groups
1) I thought this was interesting
2) I remeber drawing hearts in corners and things
3
I found it very interesting that when there is feedback that the message is oftan clearer.
1. I liked this activity because it was fun.
2. I learned how to understand communication.
3. I think that all the parts of the communication module will be on the test
1) I really liked this activity because it showed how communitcation can cg=hange under pressure
2) 2 things i will remember from thsi activity is that communitation is easier when you can see your audience and that communication is also easier when your not rushed
3) One thing i think will be in the test if a question about how communication changes when your in a rush
1. yeah it was fun because of all the different ways people get stuff
2.if you explain stuff people will understand you more
3. what communicating is
1) I liked it where we had to draw what the one person was trying to explain to us out in front, and behind the closet door.
2) I learned it was difficult to understand what somebody was saying when you couldn't see them.
3) Somethign that might be on the test is the flowmap of: sender, message, reciever, feedback, and interferance.
1) yes i thought it was fun.
2)two things that I remembered were, you have to try to understand what the person was saying when you cant ask questions and when people could talk listening to them it was easier but took longer.
3)i think that the receiver, sender, message and feedback will be on the test.
The activity was allright. I didn't hate it, but it wasn't very exciting. I learned that you understand better when communication goes both ways, and that you have to be really precise when giving instructions. I think that sender, receiver, and feedback will be on the test.
1) Yes, it was sort of funny
2) You have to be specific when describing something. Mistakes are easy to make.
3) Drawing something by description.
1. yes, because I love to draw.
2. I learned that if you can ask ?'s you will be able to understand more what they are asking you to do.
3. I think that all the was to communicat will be on it.
i liked the part when we had to draw what they where saying to us
something i learned was that you had to really listen to what people said. something that might be on the test woulld be the meaning of communication
1 i liked it because you just had to trust what the person with the piece of paper whas saying. 2 how hard it is to draw something that you have never seen before.
I liked the activity. It was weird to see how much every detail matters in order to get the whole message. Its hard not to ask questions. I think feedback will be on the test.
1. I did like this because it was interesting to see how other people drew different things.
2.I remember that 1 person had to stand behind the door and I also remember that they would try to explain what was on the sheet of paper.
3.The part with the sender, receiver and feedback.
1. I liked the activity because it was a challenge that everyone really wanted to get right.
2.Two things that can be remmembered:
-You have to listen carefully.
-Difficult not to see any hand gestures.
3.What might be on the test:
Explaining and Identifying the communication model. (sender, message, reciever, feedback and noise).
I liked it because it was fun. that when there is no feedback it is hard to know if the person interperated the question the right way. Noise can ruin the messages.
no because i dont get the point behind it
that if you can send a message without detail it can be misunderstood. and with detail did not help much
i liked it because it was fun learning it.
2. the two things i learned from it was listen to what your friends, parents, or teachers are trying to say to you, and the second one is try to understand what the person is aying if you don't go ahead and ask them that you don't get it.
3. i think all the communication things that you learned is going to be on the test.
1. I liked it.
2. You have to be detailed. You had to listen.
3. It tests the feedback part.
1. I deffinatly liked this activity.
2.it kind of, "completed" the lesson, gave you an actual sence of what you are learning.
3. Two things that can be remembered are that noise isn't just verbal, and the process of communication is on the test.
1. Yes because it was fun having other people try to tell you what to draw.
2. If someone is telling you how to draw something they have to be very specific. And I learned that noise is more than just verbal.
3. I think that the flow map is going to be on the test
1)yes, it was funny to watch everyone try to explain what was on the paper.
2)I remembered that to really listen to someone you have to be watching them, i also remember that you should try to understand what the person is saying.
3)Definitely the process of sending and receiveing messages.
I liked this activity. I thought it was fun to show how commnication works.
You need to look and watch the person when speaking to them. And you can misunderstand people really quickly and easy.
Something on the test would be like the model of communcation and how it works.
1) yes i did like this activity because it was fun trying to draw what the person said.
2) you have to pay close attention to what they are sayin and its hard to listen to someone if you cant talk or ask them questions.
3) it might have a map and you have to show where the sender, message, reciever, feedback, and the noises go in it.
I liked it because it was kinda fun to see how descriptive the person could be.
I remembered how detailed you sometimes need to be and that you need to listen carfully to understand
The noise factor could be on the test
i like to draw
i learned about miscomunication
misomunication can lead to mistakes
1. It was fun because the size of what they were saying was never said, so it was hard to do exactly
2. To understand what to do you need to listen at all times, otherwise just one missed detail the whole picture would turn out different.
3. All the different types of communication are.
1. I liked it because it was fun trying to figure out what they were trying to explain to us.
2. I learned that things can be mis communicated.
3. Noise may ruin messages.
1) I liked that we had to imagine what the picture was and not see it until the end.
2) I remembered that you had to pay really close attention to what your classmate was syaing, and try to listen for the exact details.
3) I think that communication were you don't talk will be on the test.
I kinda liked it because it was kinda intresting. I can remember the thing with the paper and how we had to draw it, and thats about it. and important thing related to that is that it is communication.
1.i loved this activity
because it made are class bond together
2.well i got it completly wrong
and everyone else did good
3.the noise part and reciver and sender
this activity waws the bomb! it was soo fun cause u got to draw stuff
u had to follow the intructions witch was hard
all of it is probly on the test
i enjoyed this activity it was fun and i could learn from it.
i remembered that it was challenging but you really had to focus
on the test there might be a part on the communication process.(sender, reciever, message)
I liked drawing what the person explained because it was fun.
You have to pay attention to what you are saying.
The test might ask what communication is.
1. I liked it because you could tell that people took different things to mean different things
2. You can see that not everyone sees things the same way
3. There was a message going from the sender, to the Receivers, and we gave feedback.
1. I liked the activity because it was slightly challenging but it gave us a break from normal ruitine.
2. I will remember to be clear in what i say and that what i say comes across differently to everyone.
3. I think the following directions part will be on the test.
1) I liked it beacuse it was entertaining.
2) I learned that noise can effect how the message turns out and that following directions can be difficult if they are not specific.
3) I think that the parts of the communication module will be on the test.
1. I liked describing the picture to the rest of the class and seeing if they got it right.
2. Two things I remember are you have to be a good listener and a good comunicator.
2. Something that might be on the test the the Sender, Message, Reciever, and Feedback definitions.
1) i liked it because it involved all of the class instead of just individual work.
2) two things i remembered from this activity were that you have to really listen to the person thats speaking and you have to focus on their directions
3) the things that might be important on the test are sender, reciever, and noise
1.I liked when a student tryed to explain the whats on the paper.
2.That it took longer to do when poeple could respond but it was more accurate.
3.I think the noise will be on the test.
1) I liked it because it was fun.
2) Two things i can remember are that it's hard to copy something you can't see.And that you need to pay good attention to understand.
3)I think that everything from receiver to different types of communication will be on the test.
1- Yes I liked this activity because it helped us understand the communication process in a fun way, by using our own scenarios
2-Two thing I remembered were: sometimes there are interferences that cause you not to fully understand the message, and there is always some sort of feedback needed in the process
3- On the test there could be something about the process of communication and the order in which it comes.
1.not really. it was hard to explain a drawing.
2.it's easier to comunicate with hand symbols, it's easier to understand some one when you can ask questions.
1) It was interesting to see if we all drew the same pictures.
2) Its very easy to misunderstand people if your not paying full attention to people.
3) I think the flow map will be on the test.
i liked this activity because it showed that you have to be very specific when explaining things i think that that the ways noise affects communication will be on the blog
1.)Yes i really liked this activity because i am good AT IT THE ONLY THING THAT I DID NOT like was the fact that i didnt get to go.
2.)that what ever somebodies words are they might be trying to say something a little bit different than how u interperate it.
3.)something to do with what kind of communication it is?
1.i liked it cause it was in a large group.
2.You hae to listen to the peple talking and you ahd to listen closely.
3.what might be on the test is the diagram os the messager, receiver.
i liked it because it was challenging trying to right down what the student was telling us
2 thing that i remember is that listening and understanding are important
something that might be on the test is listening
1.i didnt really like it because it wasnt to fun.
2.you might not understand someone if you dont pay attention to them.
3. the parts of communication.
1) I liked this activity because it was an interesting experiment.
2) People can be thinking of very different things if not explained properly.
3) The above two statements.
Kelsey E
1. Yes, because it was fun to see how accurate we were.
2. That it is easlier to communicate to people when you can see them and they can see you, and that accuracy is very important and hard to describe
1. I liked it because it seemed easy but it was harder than it looked
2. two things i learned were. was Pay attention and try to understand.

1)yes, i liked this a lot because me and my friends play this game all the time
2)I rememberd everyone being a little frustrated because the first person to go was not very clear about it. A second thing a remember was that was that the second time we did that, we all got it right because the person was very clear about it.
4)I think that the noise part will be on the test
