Dead Poets' Society--The Characters' Fears
There are several lessons and issues that can be discussed in Dead Poets' Society. For the purpose of LRT, we are focusing on fear:

2. I think Knox's fear is to express his feelings to anyone, including Kris. The only thing is, though, he didn't have any problems reading that poem to her. Well, at least, he didn't seem to have any problems except for nervousness.
3. I think Neil's fear is his own father. Neil tells everyone except his father that he is scared of his father. But then when it comes to facing him, he immediatly gets scared and obeys.

3. I think Neil's fear is doing what he wants and standing up for himself. His father is always telling him what to do and being very controlling.
