9-27 Happenings

Today we voted for the Packer Contest and discussed the Minnesota Vikings Entrance Exam for Prospective Players. We checked supplies, extra credit, the Dead Poets' Society Permission Slip, the Parent Persuasive Speech Worksheet and Outline. I handed out the LRT Calendar for October and I checked every student's Netvibes page to make sure they had correctly added the Valley Viewer feed. We discussed the Parent Persuasive Speech assignment and I answered questions regarding presenting the speech this weekend. We then switched gears and began the Fear Module. I shared stories about Guy Smiley and snakes. Students then completed a journal about their own personal fears. I handed out the Fear packet and students completed the Fear Inventory. Students then began reading and answering questions from the Fear Case Studies.
