1.Everybody Loves Raymond
2.Raymond is a middle aged man who lives in the same neighborhood as his parents. Raymond's dad believes a long time ago Raymond didn't beat in ping pong. Raymond insists he did, then challenges his dad and learn lots of lessons. Raymond's dad, Frank used a lot of vocal messages such as laughing or groaning and used lots of emphasis in his sentences. I realized that in television the charactors have to use a lot of vocal and nonverbal messages along with verbal messgages to make it the clearest to the audience and most entertaining.

I watched out of jimmy's head. Jimmy enters the school talent show because he thinks that if he wins he will be the most popular kid in school. 1. I watched the show FRIENDS.
2. In this episode, Monica found her perfect wedding dress, and when she went to get it at the discount store, another woman who had met her the day before, tried to take it from her. 3.One message that Joey used was to roll his eyes and stick out his tongue. This was a nonverbal message that indicated good taste of the food he had just eaten.
4.The one thing that I learned is that there are a lot of nonverbal messages in the show FRIENDS.

I watched Friends for the assignment. Friends is about six friends who live in the same building and some share rooms. The show is about their problems, and it is really funny. One of the messages that I wrote down was Ross yelling "I have sting tickets!" The vocal message was that he was very excited, and he was showing the tickets to Phoebe, which is a nonverbal message. I learned that T.V. shows rely on good acting, so that the message they are trying to send is acurate. Without good acting, people won't understand what the message is, and the show will not be good.

Ryan felt bad so he made it up to Kane by speniding a whole day with just Kane at Legoland.Ryan said he was sorry he coudldn't hang out with Kane. The movie I watched was Mrs. Doubtfire. This movie is about a dad who gets a divorce and does not gain custody of his children. He wants to spend time with his kids so he gets a job as their old woman nanny. In the movie, Mrs. Doubtfire says "loser" in a disgusted tone. From this activity, I learned that it is not just what you say but how you say it. Without expression, television would be boring.

1.I watched a show called Welcome to the House.
2.This show was about a family of 9 living in a little house. There are two guys who try to get out of the house and try to get a house for themselves.
3.One of the examples is when "Dad" says "Righhhttt, do you want anything else? A pack of leechee? Some shrimp chips?" He says that with a lot of sarcasm and points to a guy who is selling junk food.
4.I realized that everybody uses three types of communication all the time.
