Special Note to 7/8 B
Today you received the Parent Persuasive Speech assignment. Please make sure to read the 9-25 Happenings blog entry so that you know exactly what the assignment is. Since I was unable to attend class today you may have some additional questions. Please post them here and I will answer them.

do we give the parent pursuassive speech to the class? thanks, caitlin
You will complete the top half of the Parent Persuasive Speech and a typed draft of the outline. I will check that in class on Thursday. On Thursday, you will practice your speech in small groups in class. You will then present your speech to your family over the weekend and turn in the evaluation form on Monday for 25 points. If you hand in the signed evaluation form on Monday, you automatically earn 25 points regardless of the rating your parent gives you. Let me know if you have more questions.
